It was a really cold and windy Halloween this year, Neenahs Trick or Treat times are from 4-7. We headed out at 4:30pm and back at 5:45pm...the boys stayed out later...till 6:30pm. Then it was home for some Chicken Dumpling soup, Lizard guts, Crows Eyes, Cannibal Sandwich, and all sorts of other goodies! The kids had a blast and really enjoyed all the cool food, so the time put in was well worth it!
Hope everyone had a safe and happy halloween!

October 22nd 2008

Every little girl should have a person who loves them for who they are no matter what. Even if she makes that person cry because this little girl knows how to do her homework, even though she asked for help, or wears clothing that nobody else seems to like. Every little girl should have a person that will teach her how to knit and sew left handed, even if they are right handed. Every little girl should have a person that will stand up for her when her parents are mad at her. Every little girl should have a person that will make her favorite dinner when her Mom makes something yucky for dinner. Every little girl should have a person in there life that helps her clean her room, so she does not get grounded (or even cleans the whole room while she is in school). Every little girl should have a person in her life that will share their bed with her, and lets her eat the last sweet in their house. Every little girl should have a person in her life that holds a washrag over her eyes when washing hair so no soap gets in her eyes. (Even if there is no soap yet just water) Every little girl should have a person in her life that is willing to be her pillow when ever. Every little girl should have a person in her life that makes her feel beautiful, smart, and like she is the best thing that ever happened.

I am that little girl that had all of that and more growing up, I had a person in my life that thought I could do no wrong, who's eyes were always full of love, and arms always open.

My Oma is my hero! There will never be another person in my life to take her spot, she is one of a kind.

In 1929 an amazing woman was put on this Earth, she was a Daughter, Wife, Mother, and Oma. On October 22nd 2008 God called her home, to be with family that she has been without for so long. She will never have another lonely day or night. I miss her more then I ever thought I could miss anyone, but I have felt closer to her this past year then I have when she lived so many miles away. She now lives in my heart.

Lieselotte Unser you are the person that every girl should have the honor to have in her life, and I was the lucky girl that did get to have you. I am truly blessed to have had you as MY OMA! I love and miss you, and one day when the time is right I will join you at 'home'. You are the best thing that ever happend to me
I Love You!
